What is my ideal organization?

I sat down and tried to think of what Utopia would look like. Inspired by all that I have read, heard, seen, felt and experienced so far in life, I present to you our ideal organization. If you find it whimsical, you might not have read my earlier post on Black Swan theory!! I will rationalize and elucidate the core values in the following posts.

Our vision

We will serve selflessly, gift abundantly and build a community of liberated people with as little as 1 Rupee.

Our core values

1.       Family of sevadaris
We will stay fully volunteer run, where work is done without any reward expectation in return.
This will keep the organization structure circular, dynamic, low cost and open to radical change.
Everything is based on relationships, trust, and giving which creates the culture of being the change.
2.       Free service
We will serve with whatever we can without asking for anything in return.
Our security lies in our service to our people. Our savings will be our people’s feedback.
We will be advocates of gift-it-forward principle. Gift for others what you have received for free.

3.       Think small, act with a big heart
We will do small things with great love and expect nothing in return.
We will use each other to grow within and find our own paragons of self-expression.
We will use the flash light principle and not have any big growth goals for the organization.

Sevadari commitments

a.       Commitment to building the family of relationships with trust and abundance.
b.      Commitment to serve fully and freely, advocating for gift-it-forward principle.
c.       Commitment to think small and find the highest form of self-expression.

  1. Wonderful !

In my mediocre thoughts I always thought "Utopia" exists only in English literature.I made several futile attempts to find a perfect metaphor....with this initiative my search comes to an end.
Happy to contribute as per my ability !
    Great going !

  2. Thanks Arjun.

A lot of thoughts and ideas are inspired from Nipun Mehta's Charity focus(see links below).

I wish that we stay committed to our endeavors.

A full mind, a warm heart and an indomitable will can achieve anything.

    Take care!
